Welcome to the quarterly Babwise-Friendly Blog Network Week! The schedule for this week is as follows:
Today’s guest post spotlight for Babywise-Friendly Week is Jessica Cook from The Mommy Teacher. She wrote a post that hit home for me. Her post is about making the most of your time at home with your children. She has a neat perspective going from a SAHM to now a working mom outside of the home. Here is my favorite quote…
Sometimes just ONE thing can make your day feel like a HUGE success. You might sweep one floor, exercise for one small chunk of time, cook one meal, check off one thing from the to-do list, etc.
Yes, literally checking off one purposeful activity a day can make us feel so accomplished!! She shares how such a simple activity as making a letter with her son for his cousins turned into something extremely special. It doesn’t have to be huge, complicated projects but a little bit of planning and motivation and ONE small activity can make our kids feel like they are on top of the world and have our whole attention. Check out Jessica’s great post and ideas on how she plans purposeful activities at The Mommy Teacher! What a cool blog!!
