I hadn’t really planned on doing a post today since it is the 4th of July, but I just came across the coolest website!! It is called School Sparks. It is a website for kindergarten readiness (well, much more) and there are tons of free printable worksheets. TONS. I would actually pay a small fee to have them downloadable at once.
I went through a minor crisis where I felt horrible that I could not homeschool my children. I never planned on homeschooling. I was partially homeschooled for a few years myself, but I had no intention of homeschooling. My son keeps me on my toes, though, and he needs constant challenging. He blows me away with all he is learning. I realized that homeschooling would be perfect for him. I think he will struggle in kindegarten because he is already doing some of the work at 3 years old.
Well, part of my solution is doing a lot of worksheets and educational activities at home. We are blessed with a caregiver that is very interested in teaching, and we do a lot of learning activities in the afternoons on weekends. I was so excited to find Renee’s worksheets. I cannot wait to show them to my son!! I know this is may not be applicable to your children’s ages but I could not resist sharing.
